![]() I made some pond zones and set it up so Kogsak would be washed off her beloved ramp tile and into a pit from which she could not get back to her beloved ramp tile (my original plan is she'd be washed off the door tile and I'd lock the door to block her from returning). So I reloaded again to try my original plan without it being thwarted by arcane door magic. So then I thought: could this be done without DFHack? Getting a stuck dwarf to move is not that easy, and they obstruct many things from being done on that tile such as the obvious solution of channeling it out to turn it into un-navigable open space.īut some things can be done: I reloaded, mined out her ramp, and built a door on top of her: Success! The moment the door was completed, through the dwarvern mastery of "spooky action at a distance" the artifact in the workshop was miraculously completed and Kogsak ran off. After I let her out she ran to the workshop and started working, so simply being unable to reach her beloved ramp was enough to reset her back to normal strange mood behaviour. I then reloaded again and teleported her into a location which wasn't her workshop but also where she couldn't reach her beloved ramp (e.g. So then I thought: what if cold hard reality got between her and her beloved ramp? So I walled off her workshop and teleported her to it, success! She started working. She ran straight back to her beloved ramp in the middle of the wilderness. I thought teleporting her might break her out of the glitched state so I used teleport to teleport her to the workshop. First I used DFHack showmood to confirm she had everything she wanted, and she did. Since I had a save game during the mood, I reloaded and started trying things to save her.
